Tabitha's ears are doing well after a few days of fungicidal drops.  Her head is a bit spiky and greasy, but she finally forgave us for taking her to the vet.  Bribes were involved.

Also, within the last month, I've done a lot of work based on feedback from many other writers and my great friends with and without degrees in English.  It's been a spectrum of people and advice that has helped improve things dramatically.  How lucky am I to know so many smarties?

Oh, right.  We cannot hear "the cars" this far north.  The military jet fly-over does scare the crap out of us each race, though.   Who knew a stealth bomber was so loud? 

Celebrate the 4th by keeping all of your fingers!  To those US friends in IL, MD, MA, and CA...we will be sure to think of you as neighbors set off mortars in their driveways.  Gotta love IN. 

A lot of people have asked about the pictures on the steph FM site, so here are some answers, you nosy buggers!

The photos on the stephFM site were set up and taken by me (Steph) one afternoon--with the exceptions of the type keys, radio, and pics of me.  The type keys were from an internet image that I cut and pasted and merged and so on and so forth to spell each word.  The radio is also a downloaded image.  Kel snapped those of me.

The maneki neko, or lucky cat, was a present from Carrie Ann when she did her NYC internship with United.  Mr. Golden Buddha was also a gift.  Kel brought him back from San Francisco.  He usually brings me something fun from his "bid-nez" trips (Bono bug sunglasses, poker visors...).  And, yeah, that's me rocking the glow sticks (purple, of course) from my awesome sister, brother-in-law, and nephew.

And I know I have to make links back to the main menu.  Maybe by the end of this week?  Fiction is "way funner" than HTML. 

Yeah, I also take the pics for the small time charlie album covers.  I like taking photos!  Well, as long as they aren't of gels....
